A short standard we hold student work to.

  1. Every image carries alt text that says what it shows
  2. Text over a background clears 4.5:1 contrast
  3. Nothing depends on colour alone
  4. Anything interactive works from a keyboard
Why it is graded
An interface that excludes people is not a neutral design decision. It is a
design decision with a cost, and we expect you to be able to name it.
